MOC (Market-on-Close) Order
A market order designated to execute in the closing auction at the official closing price. Brokers require MOC submission minutes before the close. Strategies that trade daily bars often prefer the close for its liquidity; where a broker doesn't support MOC natively, platforms emulate it with a near-close market order.
